Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

This cosy cottage is situated close to the centre of Ambleside. Take a seat in the bay window, relax and enjoy the spectacular idyllic views over Ambleside and beyond. Stroll into the village and enjoy the cafes and restaurants or take one of the stunning Fell Walks that Ambleside has to offer. The contemporary cottage is fitted out to a high standard, including central heating and modern appliances. The lounge and both bedrooms have breath taking views of the Fells or Lake Windermere.

The Lady of the Lake Windermere

The Lady of the Lake is a cosy cottage with stunning views across Lake Windermere to the fells. The cottage provides the perfect base to relax and explore the Lake District and all it has to offer, from Horse Riding to Hiking, Boat Trips, Cycling and many more activities. The cottage has a private parking space, EV charger, shared private jetty, and is ideally situated just a 15 minute walk from Windermere train station and centre where you will find an array of shops and traditional pubs.

Self-contained one bedroom luxury accommodation

This is the perfect accommodation for couples who want privacy in their own self-contained living space. The Homestead Lodge has a open plan living/ kitchen area with a real log burner, TV, DVD player, radio, strong WIFI, sofa, microwave, kettle and cutlery. There is a separate bedroom with a very comfortable double bed, wardrobe, vanity/desk space . The bathroom has a large walk in luxury shower, toilet, butler sink, cupboard and mirror. The Lodge also has on-site private secure parking.

Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.
