The Nook at Newalls- luxury shepherd’s hut

Nestled in the hills 5 minutes outside Kendal, the hut sits in its own private meadow, enjoying far reaching views of the fells. Choose to hunker down in the hut with a book, play board games and unplug from the rest of the world or use it as a base to explore Kendal and the beautiful Lake District National Park. Step inside and you'll find a snug and cosy retreat with King sized bed, log burner and underfloor heating. Outside, enjoy the dark skies from the patio and the private fire pit area.

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

The sitting room, kitchen & dining room are on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms and 2 newly installed bathrooms are on the 1st floor and the utility room is located in the basement.

Located on White Cross Bay, the lodge is in a fantastic place to explore the Lake District and it's only £3.00 by bus to anywhere in The Lakes.

Brantfell Cottage is a beautiful mid-terrace, stone-built holiday cottage tucked away in an idyllic, elevated position above Bowness village and a stones throw from Brant Fell and the start of the famous ‘Dalesway Walk’. Fully refurbished in 2022 the cottage offers cosy, contemporary accommodation and is in an ideal location, away from the crowds but only a short stroll down the hill to the village and Lake Windermere.
