Sleeps up to 5 . A charming, cosy traditional cottage dating back to 1870 in the small hamlet of Fir Tree, Crook. Although almost 200 years old, it has been mostly modernised inside to give modern conveniences along with retaining charm and character. 2 pub/restaurants in the hamlet serving excellent food. Although situated on the A68, the main road to Edinburgh, the cottage benefits from double glazing throughout and a short walk up the hill at back of cottage to a children's play area.

Sycamore Farm Cottage has been refurbished to a high standard and features spacious rooms including 2 living rooms and a lovely country kitchen. This cosy cottage is ideal for both summer and winter stays with superb access to the adjoining Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.The cottage contains a unique and quirky mix of antique and vintage items. Our luxury cottages are perfectly placed for tranquility and adventure set in the beautiful countryside of North West Durham. Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality. Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

The Annexe

The Annexe on High Woodside Farm is an ideal location for couples or families who want to visit the North East of England It is a 15 minute drive to Durham and a 30 minute drive to Newcastle and Sunderland a 40 minute drive. The Annexe has an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge on the ground floor with a bathroom, consisting of toilet, sink and shower and 2 bedrooms on the first floor. It is very light and modern and has a small courtyard.

Beautiful Garden cottage + stunning views

Garden Cottage is a quaint and tranquil barn conversion, located in the heart of the beautiful Northumberland Countryside. The cottage has many windows; which takes great advantage of the beautiful surroundings, looking on to the peaceful country views, court yard and paddocks. We also have an occasional barn owl. The cottage is next door to the farm house but is the only cottage on-site. Hot tub not included in this listing.
