El Viura wells up like a volcanic eruption next to the village church. Whimsically stacked cubes embedded in the hillside stone make first-time visitors to our hotel feel like they're standing before a sculpture and not a building. A sculpture that melds into its surroundings, incorporating roots from the past (physically and emotionally) in the form of ancient secret escape tunnels that we have turned into part of our winery.
