Apple House - an exquisite bohemian retreat

Apple House is a quiet retreat where you can completely unwind. With beautiful changing views to the wildlife garden and pond, the kitchen garden and the hills beyond. Standing in the beautiful gardens of Hylands, a fine Arts and Crafts House, to the West of Kendal. It is decorated using quality local materials and skills of local crafts people. It is 12 minutes walk to Kendal town center's many independent shops, cafes and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub 'The Rifleman's Arms'.

Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

The Den - Scandinavian BBQ Cabin - Lake District

The Den is a unique space within the Lake District - a Scandinavian BBQ cabin. A large BBQ pit in the centre to sit around provides a cosy relaxing evening space, and a place to cook! WiFi, Fridge, Microwave, Kettle & Coffee Machine. Bedding provided. Recently upgraded bathroom facilities! Private shower, toilet and sink, exterior but right next to The Den. 8 minutes by car to Windermere, 5 minutes to Kendal. Easy access to a bus stop and cycle lane. Adults only. Sorry but no pets.

Nannygoat Cottage, Broadoak Cottages, Underbarrow

Nannygoat Cottage is a converted stable on a small private country estate in the Lake District's Lyth Valley, private drive, ponds and fields, perfect for exploring the area, well located, rural and peaceful. The local pub is a short stroll away down a country lane. Relax in comfortable surroundings, the downstairs bedrooms and upstairs lounge with log burner takes full advantage of the scenery. The mid-level kitchen dining area gives access to the garden & outdoor seating.

Kendal is an attractive market town with an eclectic range of shops, cafes, restaurants. There is a designated parking space for one vehicle beside the hut Bikes can be secured in the log shelter.
