The sea front extends for miles with great sandy beaches and many, many restaurants, coffee shops and bars. It does get quite busy in peak season but there are numerous lovely little roads off the beach to stroll up and wander around with many typical Spanish villas and gardens, with the mountains in the background. The promenade in Mojacar Playa has been extended and now extends from the Hotel Indalo at the South end of the beach to the Pueblo Indalo. It is a fabulous amenity for walking or running, again with many opportunities for a coffee or beer stop.
