All of the bridges are iconic to Pittsburgh but this one is closed during Pirates games for pedestrians to travel from downtown to the North Shore for the game.

What a beautiful amd historic bridge. I understand that its a bridge and utilitarian. However, this is one of the three sisters which are all fantastic spans. I enjoyed walking across with my son on game day. What a true legend of baseball this bridge is named for. Not many players like him and not many bridges will stand the test of time as the 3 sisters have.
