This 2.8 hectare (7 acres) area provides a panoramic view of the Bay of Quinte and the escarpments and bluffs that grace its shoreline. A boat launch with docking facilities is available for your use. This site boasts 183 meters of shoreline. You can also picnic under a shelter, or beside the water. A Little History In 1987 Mrs. Harvey J. McFarland graciously donated this shoreline property in memory of her late husband. Harvey J. McFarland was a former mayor and leading figure in the history Prince Edward County.

On the SE side of Picton Bay near the entrance to Picton Harbour, it has a nice view across the water to the large, working, Cement Plant on the west shore.
