A small but beautiful little spot nearby to Sefton Park, with its own little lake. One of my favourite quiet spots to hang out in, and has a kids playground too :)

Small but perfect park with large playground, lovely lake, swans, geese, ducks and a resident heron. Great to chill and picnic.

Greenbank Park is a beautiful, tranquil park with an elegant, placid lake. It boasts mature trees and conservation area, stone bridge at the northern end of the park and football pitches.

Greenbank is the park I went to most as a kid. There a big like running right through where we always used to feed the ducks, a big grass bank to play/lay on. There’s always fishermen lined up along the edge of the lake and kids playing in the play park. In fact, if you watch Hollyoaks - this is the park they film in when they take their kids to the park in the show, so you might recognise it. Because Hollyoaks is filmed just up the road. Little known local nugget for you there.
