Driving through here will get you views of and access to the Lake District that very few people find. Also, a great spot for cycling if you like steep hills.

A trip out to the Wrynose Pass and Hardknott Pass will not disappoint you. A drive through stunning scenery that will not disappoint you. Admittedly, the roads are narrow and steep, so not for the nervous driver, but take a picnic and you'll have a great experience.

Stunning views at the top of the pass. Drive up one of the steepest roads in England. Do not attempt in bad weather!

The Wyrnose mountain pass joins the Duddon Valley with Little Langdale, breath taking scenery every step of the way. A great way to drive into the heart of the National Park!

Park at the top of here (the Three Shires Stone) for superb views & good starting point for Pike O'Blisco, Bowfell, Crinkle Crags or walk down to the Old Dungeon Ghyll pub!
