A very special place to stay on the Bere Peninsula, Devon. This refurbished traditional slate-hung 'one-up-one-down' former silver miner's cottage was built in the 1800s. Set in the Tamar Valley National Landscape and Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site, with views of Cornwall and shared use of our quarter acre garden. The choice is yours to relax around the wood-burning stove, escape to the wilds of Dartmoor and beyond or enjoy a local cider in the 16th-century pub opposite.

Next to the owners' farmhouse, the accommodation is of an excellent standard with fabulous views of the paddock and the dramatic hills of Dartmoor beyond. Close to the open moor you can enjoy excellent walks or cycle rides in the surrounding countryside where the idyllic rural scenes of War Horse were filmed. The local town, Yelverton, is a few minutes drive and has a good butcher, Co-op, Post Office, pubs and more!

"Apple Pie Luxury Escapes" welcomes you to our newly refurbished property, "The Old Stable". Bere Alston is a quaint village, surrounded by spectacular country side. It has a cosy living room, well-equipped kitchen, & a spacious bathroom. There is a King Size bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the twin bedroom. There are STEEP STEPS down through the rear of the garden, but access is also available from the front of the property directly at street level.

We are offering a lovely 1 bed, fully self contained apartment with its own access. It is a quaint property in the heart of Tavistock town centre. There is room for one vehicle on the main drive. There is a self contained kitchen, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Dartmoor is only 5 minutes up the road for lovely walks. Plymouth is 15 miles away if you wanted the city vibes. There is off road parking and there is also a small court yard to sit outside.
