Our Floating Home, on the rural wildlife sanctuary of Upton Lake, is within a gated community and, being very close to a large car park, it's easy to unload/load your car. The galley/lounge opens out onto a deck area with a marble dining table & chairs and comfortable seating - ideal for your sundowner tipple. The whole property benefits from Superfast Wi-fi. A short stroll brings you into the historic town centre. The Lake is great base for exploring the area with pleasant riverside footpaths.

The Boathouse Lodge

The Boathouse Lodge is a peaceful lakeside retreat on the outskirts of Fairford, perfectly placed for exploring the Cotswolds. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and light open-plan living, it’s ideal for families, couples or friends. Bi-fold doors open onto the decking with beautiful lake views, perfect for dining or relaxing. Fairford sits between Burford and Cirencester, with Cheltenham, Gloucester and Oxford all within easy reach, plus the Cotswold Water Park nearby.

Dutch barge captain's accommodation.

Xavier is a 1932 Dutch Luxemotor Barge. The accommodation is in the original captain's quarters to the rear of the boat. Guests also have the exclusive use of the wheelhouse in this fully working vessel. It is moored alongside the quay in the village of Gweek, a working boatyard with traditional boat builders and a variety of marine businesses. Gweek is a lovely village at the head of the Helford Estuary and has a pub and an excellent shop opposite the village green.
