Absolutely incredible place. Very peaceful and scenic and provided with everything we could have needed. Wonderful hosts, would love to stay again.

We had a lovely stay at the Barn. Steve and Tessa were great hosts and it was nice to meet the family pets too! The Barn was warm, comfortable and well equipped for our stay. It was in a superb location and we enjoyed being able to walk straight out on to the moors. Thanks for having us!

Had a wonderful stay. Nicola is a wonderful, warm and friendly host and was incredibly thourghful and helpful. The cottage is just stunning - in terms of facilities, location and design. An ideally located cabin with beautiful surroundings it was so peaceful and tranquil we couldn't of asked for any more the cabin was spotlessly clean and very well equipped just sitting in the hot tub with a drink watching the sun set was amazing we will definatly be going back

Lovely secluded getaway with nice walks nearby. There is an excellent pub and a railway station in Yeoford which is about 30 minutes walk. Pristine, cosy, high quality accommodation. We hope to return soon.

A wonderful base to be able to explore the local area. The local pubs serve excellent food and the Dairy has some wonderful walks on the door step. The enclosed garden was a bonus for the toddler we had with us. Beaches are only a short drive away with a farm shop not far away.

Brilliant place to stay! Absolutely stunning location and the shared living space was so comfortable and welcoming. Ben was responsive, flexible and helpful!

We had a fantastic night at the Shippon. We loved the style of the property and felt very relaxed whilst there. We got some nice food from Bens farm shop which is just 10 minutes drive away. We enjoyed a couple of nice circular walks from the village along lanes and bridleways. The plant nursery up the road is worth a visit if you enjoy gardening/plants.

We enjoyed our visit to Mill farm. Nice views and very peaceful. Loved the accommodation and the bed was so comfortable. Our children played with Derrys 4 girls and we felt very welcome. Thank you

Amazing stay at Ruby Rose. The conversion is beautifully done and deceptively spacious, more than enough room for our family or 3 and out dog. The paddock was also lovely with lots to entertain us including games and animals. It's also completely enclosed so the child and dog are free to roam securely. Lastly, Denise was a brilliant host, very friendly, helpful and responsive.

My friend and I loved our stay at Monty's. The house is beautiful and everything is in its place and spotlessly clean. Maria had left us some really useful walking guides, and one of them led us to possibly the most stunning walk we had ever been on (Salcombe to Bolt Head). It was such a lovely gesture to find a yummy chocolate cake waiting for us on arrival, too. The bath was also a real treat, particularly after a long coastal hike! Thank you very much for having us, Maria, we hope to be back again! X

We had a lovely stay at The Curlew! Karen and Steve were wonderful hosts—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The property itself was spotless, cosy, and beautifully maintained, making it feel like a real home away from home. The location was perfect: peaceful and well-situated for exploring the area. One of the highlights was definitely the view of the alpacas just outside the window, which made for a truly unique and relaxing backdrop. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely lovely cottage. A beautiful village on the edge of Dartmoor. I was able to park every evening. We could walk to the moors from the door very easily. Top spot. Lovely break.

Ideal location for visiting Exeter and the surrounding countryside and beaches. It was tranquil and Jennie was an ideal host. The cottage had everything required for our 5 night stay. Jennie was happy to chat and answer any questions. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our stay exceeded expectations. Ruth has clearly put a lot of thought into the space, with lovely touches that made our stay feel special. - comfy and cozy space - good sized bathroom - well equipped kitchen - fire pit (we toasted marshmallows while enjoying the sunset - one of the highlights of our trip!) - wild rabbits roaming - fantastic area, with beautiful walks and beaches just a short hop away. - host quick to respond and happy to help We had a fantastic and relaxing stay and would highly recommend Little Northside to anyone looking for a peaceful and romantic escape. Excellent location and hosts. Beautiful, Serene surroundings. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts Valerie and Tony were wonderful and so was their property. Beautifully set up and decorated, including some photographs taken by Tony himself. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet stay. A bit far from the usual places, meaning you will need your own transportation. But well worth it. Look forward to staying there again

My stay at Frances’ was absolutely lovely- she made us feel very welcome from the offset! The place is very charming and homely- I’ll be back for sure if I return to this neck of the woods!

We’ve just returned from a great stay at David’s cottage for New Year. The cottage is peaceful and perfect for a relaxed get away. We loved sitting in front of the log burner in the evening. David and Celia were super friendly. They gave us local recommendations which were spot on. Highly recommend!

Spent the week at Michael and Caroline’s cosy barn and couldn’t have asked for a better time. Such a serene location where you’re immersed in nature. It was lovely to hear the birds chirping, the river running and the wind through the trees. The barn itself was very cosy, especially the new king size bed they’ve put in. The underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom was a nice surprise. The host themselves provided clear instructions on how to use the facilities and this made things so much easier. Only a couple of days into our stay we had already decided we’d be coming back.

Really loved our stay here, it was so peaceful and having a hot tub before and after a day out walking was perfect! The house was clean and uncluttered and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable break away with the kids and dog! We will look forward to coming back and exploring more of this lovely area.

Lovely stay in this rustic farmhouse. Spacious eating area, lovely orchard.

Once again we had a lovely stay at Stancombe. The farmhouse is beautiful. We spent a lot of time in the cosy kitchen with the aga but it would have been nice to have slightly more space in the lounge for comfy seating as there were ten of us we couldn't all sit in there at the same time. Beautiful historic building thanks again Sophia and Hilary!

Had an amazing stay here! Was a lovely peaceful place - our dog loved being outside in the garden running around & watching the pigs :) Hut was great - as described, very clean/tidy, good heating, plenty of storage space and nice big hot tub (which was ready to use on arrival). The best host was really friendly, helpful & responsive, made sure we had everything we needed even various breakfast options! As we stayed during Easter holiday he’d also wrote us a card and left us an Easter egg each! Really couldn’t have asked for more, would definitely stay again! :)
