Charming 17th century former Coaching Inn overlooking beautiful open countryside. Sleeps 6 (+3) (8-12 from June 2026) Large modern open plan kitchen with open fire, traditional snug with wood-burner, large patio with fire-pit, pickleball court. An inn has existed at this crossroads for centuries. The building dates back to the 1600s. We sensitively restored the property in 2021 conserving the lime-washed walls and beams and creating a light and spacious living area. Sole use of 3 acre field.

With it's 4.5m ceilings, the stabl comes with an airy bedroom with kingsize sleigh bed, en-suite with walk-in shower, sitting room with reclaimed kitchenette and breakfast bar, and a hayloft with a kingsize futon hidden on top for the brave. Covered outdoor seating area with firepit & bbq. Fibre internet, smart TV (Netflix etc). 2 well-behaved dogs welcome.

The Cabin A secluded, self contained log cabin

The Cabin is a purpose built log cabin with easy access for people with impaired mobility. It is positioned in an isolated private garden of a family owned smallholding. The Cabin looks out over the surrounding country. It has its own secluded private garden and foot access to many acres of local woods and walks. We welcome dogs and they stay for free. But please let us know you are bringing them. We do not accept bookings that include infants or children as we are only insured for adults.

A haven for wildlife with regular sightings of red kites, badgers and for the lucky few, otters at play. Holt Cottage is set in the countryside that Dylan Thomas would have gazed upon and has view of his Boathouse and Writing Shed.
