Our secluded cabin is surrounded by ancient oak tree forest and all the wildlife that comes with it. It’s so peaceful that you will only hear the river and the birds. Set in 10 acres of our own land for you to explore and easy access to Snowdonia public foothpaths, it’s perfect for those looking to spend some time in nature. The cabin itself features private wood fired hot tub, wet room, underfloor heating, large deck with bbq, kingsize bed, kitchen, living and dining area and a private cinema.

Glyn Shepherds Hut is the perfect base for exploring everything that Snowdonia and the North Wales coast have to offer. Located between Capel Curig and Betws-y-Coed in North Wales, it has probably the best views in the area of stunning Model Siabod. It also combines the romance and cosiness of a traditional hut, with the modern conveniences of an attached shower room and entrance porch that gives you plenty of space to store muddy boots or clothing and kit, leaving the hut free of clutter.

Our guests love the cottage for it's rustic charm and beautiful gardens with viewpoints over the Lledr valley. It's on a quiet hillside surrounded by craggy ancient woodland about 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed, well placed to explore Snowdonia but also well off the beaten track. My cottage is a mid terraced small miners cottage, perched high above Blaenau FFestiniog with stunning views in a quiet residential area but only a few minutes walk from the town centre. You have access straight into the mountains. It is beautifully warm in the winter and in the summer catches the sun from dawn until dusk. Zip World, Bounce Below , the LLechwedd Slate Caverns and the FFestiniog Railway are all close by.
