The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic. Situated in a most unique location, high on the Ribble Valley side of Lancashire’s iconic Pendle Hill, it sits surrounded by sheep pastures where hare and fox come to say good-night. Located in the Forest of Bowland AONB, this luxury lodge is the perfect escape to unwind and soak in the country air. Surrounded by rolling fells and winding valleys you will feel truly relaxed after visiting Hartley’s Huts. The lodge is well kit out with an en suite bedroom in one half and kitchen/living area in the other half. The living area boasts a log burner which creates a cosy atmosphere whatever the season.

The Servants Wing is situated within the the Stunning and Imposing Claughton Hall. The views from the property over the Lune Valley from an elevated hilltop position are spectacular. The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the private driveway. Whilst adjoining the main house the accommodation offers a great deal of privacy and includes a separate entrance & private outdoor area.
