Our purpose built Sanctuary is a real home from home , ideal for two adults plus pets ,to live in whilst visiting friends or family in the area or for using it as a base for a holiday as many guests use us to explore Northumberland , its wonderful beaches , Morpeth , Alnwick , Seahouses and Bamburgh .It’s also only a 5 minute drive to the local beach , the A19 and just a twenty minute bus ride into the centre of Newcastle ,using the great bus service catching the X7 which runs every 30 mins.

Rose Cottage is a 150 year old Grade II listed property, located within the Durham City conservation area. It is ideally situated for guests to enjoy the many attractions of this historic city, including the Unesco World Heritage site of Durham Cathedral and Castle, Durham University Museums and Gardens, riverside walks and an abundance of eateries. Newly converted Granary to go with our other larger holiday cottage on our working farm. located for exploring Hadrians Wall or for taking a break on a long journey. There is one bedroom upstairs with a en-suite and a king bed. There is also a futon bed located in the bedroom but only limited seating if more than 2 or 3 guests are staying. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony or a soak in the hot tub, and watch the sun rise in the east. Cottage is small but cosy. Dogs are most welcome.
