The property is adjacent to Aylesbeare Common, a wildlife haven offering ample hiking trails and only a 15 minute drive to the seaside town of Sidmouth or 20 minutes from Exmouth. Exeter is 30 minutes by car.

The cottage at Ashton is situated in a beautifully-converted barn, attached to a thatched c.15th farmhouse. Surrounded by nature, peace and tranquility, this is a wonderful place to stay within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The gardens are colourful, mature and well maintained, for you to enjoy during your stay. The Coach house is recently renovated to a very high standard. It consists of a living room with plenty of seating, wood burner, free supply of logs, under floor heating, a dining room that opens into our extensive gardens, a bathroom with shower, separate bath and plenty of fluffy towels and a large upstairs bedroom with seating area with views over the River Otter and garden. It is ideal for a couple/ young family as there is a cot and single bed, available in the bedroom area.

This lovely spacious cottage is adjacent to the owner's house, set in 3 acres of gardens and beautiful countryside in the heart of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's a great base for walking, cycling, touring, shopping, eating and drinking ...and curling up in front of the log fire. Sidbury village is a 20 min walk away. And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!

Conway Cottage is a 17th century thatched cottage with a large garden in the idyllic village of Otterton, Devon. The Annexe is a self-contained guest suite, with living room/diner, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen, fully equipped, recently modernised and redecorated. Ideal for a couple or for a family with two small children as there is a double sofa-bed in the living room. Just outside the French doors is a patio with table and barbecue for summer dining. Our vegan-run B&B is a really peaceful, tranquil space, surrounded by countryside & river walks & just 3 miles from Sidmouth sea front. You'll find games & books in the room, or enjoy chilling with the radio or Netflix, Disney or Prime. There's also a little beach hamper in the wardrobe! There are chairs & a little table on your patio, ideal for spotting wildlife! Children must be 12+ as we have a large wildlife pond.
