Brilliant for walkers and cyclists (Sandstone Way cycle route) and a great base for exploring wonderful Northumberland. Located within the "International Dark Sky Park" it is a fantastic place to stargaze, with specialist equipment provided.

Breakfast on the balcony, soak in the hot tub, relax on the decking or doze in the hammock - all overlooking the private accessible woodland and pond. Stunning beaches and miles of coastline are only 25 min away.The hosts are only to happy to provide advice and information.

Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.

Perfect for active family holidays and just a stone throw from the popular ‘Fishing Boat Inn’ . The ideal location for heavenly coastal walks to traditional pubs serving the local sea food.
