Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Sit on the patio and watch beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic as fishing boats and yachts sail by. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore. From the inglenook fireplace to the exposed beams and arches, this cottage is full of character and history.

You can catch a glimpse of the estuary as you look down Meeting Street. The cottage retains many of it's original features but is fully modernised with a wood burner, contemporary kitchen & large bathroom with free-standing bath & separate walk-in shower.
