Mariners Cottage is a beautifully restored traditional cottage, nestled between colourful cobbled streets in the charming fishing village of Appledore, North Devon. Our newly renovated dog friendly cosy cottage is the perfect base to explore the local area, the fine eateries and the stunning coastal walks. The log burner is perfect to relax in front of, after a day out. We live locally, and are on hand to help with any recommendations or questions you may have. We look forward to welcoming you.

Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Sit on the patio and watch beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic as fishing boats and yachts sail by. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore. From the inglenook fireplace to the exponses beams and arches, this cottage is full of character and history.

The secure porch provides an useful storage space for surfboards, bikes, wetsuits and other outdoor equipment. The property is south facing and enjoys its own off-road parking.
