This dog friendly cottage boasts breathtaking views over the estuary, wonderful sunny walled garden and two inviting sitting rooms, each centred around a cosy wood burner for ultimate relaxation. Full of character and beautifully decorated with a mix of contemporary furnishings, premium linens and antique finds, style and comfort is at the forefront.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for group trips. Directly on the waterfront, the newly renovated property has beautiful uninterrupted views across the Taw-Torridge estuary and out to sea. We are a 5 min walk to the great pubs, cafés and restaurants on Appledore quay, and a 30 min picturesque walk to Westward Ho! beach - 2.5 km of sand dunes and surf. You can swim off the Lifeboat slipway just 100 yards down the street.

Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

The accommodation can be found nestled in the garden of the old village school with lovely views of the river and woods beyond. The compact accommodation is designed to make the most of the surrounding scenery. The Garden Room is but a stones throw from the Tarka Trail which provides over 70 miles of traffic-free cycling or walking. The North Devon coast and it’s beaches are a short drive away.

The house is situated beside the North Devon Tarka Trail and has outstanding views of The River Taw and just 5 miles from lovely Sandy Beaches. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Our Villa is not a party venue! We will NOT ACCEPT : IVENTS, HEN NIGHT, STAG NIGHT QUIET HOURS 11pm to 7am Pet fee: £ 90 for the entire stay Charging electric cars is not possible!
