Spacious and characteristic loft with canal view

Comfortable fully furnished loft/apartment with a mix of quality designer and vintage furniture, complemented with artworks from the painter who lived here for decades. At the front side of the apartment you have a great canal view and at the backside a view on the quiet garden with a beautiful Magnolia tree. Although very centrally located in a lively neighbourhood in the city center, the street and the house is quiet, which is highly appreciated by the owners, two architects, as well.

Two room appartment, located in the old city center of Purmerend. The shops, bars and restaurants are less then 50 meters from the appartment. Checkin is self checkin with key safe. Excellent bus connection to Amsterdam downtown ( 19 min.) 2 to 8 times an hour. Or to the main Subway hub in Amsterdam North ( 16 min) .The busstop is at less then 90 meters from the apartment. By car 19 minutes to central station. Exellent location for bicycling, the Beemster polder is just 500 meters away.

Na een inspirerende dag in Amsterdam, is het heerlijk 'thuis' komen in dit originele appartement, dat gebouwd is in een oude hooiberg in het dorpje Watergang. Waar alles aanwezig is voor een ontspannen verblijf voor 2-4 personen. Zeer geschikt voor een fijne vakantie of lang verblijf. Gratis fietsen voor elke gast en gratis kano's en een kajak beschikbaar. Our place is in the heart of the most colorful and popular neighborhood of Amsterdam, de Pijp, around the corner from the Sarphatipark and Albert Cuyp market. De Pijp has a high density of cafés, and many nice places to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is also a stone's throw from the river from which Amsterdam takes its name: the Amstel. Almost all museums such as the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum, canals and the city centre are all a short walk away.

Beautiful loft/studio - ideal for couples and long-term stays. The private light-filled loft (with a kingsized bed) is situated very close to the Weesperzijde, the stunning avenue along the river Amstel, lined with lovely cafes and restaurants, numerous houseboats and offering the city’s best sunset views.
