The Old Chapel is tucked away in the small Dales village of Buckden for an incredibly peaceful holiday in a converted Wesleyan Chapel. It is ideally placed for exploring the local area on foot or bike. There are 4 pubs that serve food within a 2 mile radius with one a 2 minute walk away. Upper Wharfedale can be explored from the doorstep with easy riverside walks or more strenuous hikes up into the mountains. A short drive away are the villages of Kettlewell, Grassington, Skipton, Hawes & Settle

Foxup House Barn is a converted one bedroom farm building, totally self-contained to the side of our house. It has it's own entrance with private parking space for one vehicle and private walled and fenced garden. It is situated at the end of a no-through road, totally surrounded by hills with stunning views from every window. Newly converted in 2023 we have put much thought and love into the project, aiming to create a warm, comfortable and stylish space, finished to a high standard.

Ideal for walkers, The Dales Way and Buckden Pike nearby alongside other circular hikes from the doorstep. Eating out, The Buck Inn is opposite and The George Inn, Hubberholme is a 20 minute walk along The River Wharfe. Buckden is a delightful place to visit, described by many guests as a hidden gem.

The Chicken Shed at Knowle Top was newly built in 2019 on the ruins of an old barn and decorated to the highest standards of industrial chic.
