Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

Harebell Cottage in Wylam Village Sleeps 4

Enjoy a peaceful break in this stylish country cottage with huge charm. From the log burning stove to the open plan master bedroom / bath you would be forgiven for thinking you had landed in a boutique hotel room! There are two spacious bedrooms, the master which has an open plan bath / shower and a single bed next door which can also be made up to a twin room with two full size single beds. The Annexe is self contained at the rear of Pontop Hall with its own single parking space. The Hall is a grade 2* Listed Building, built as early as 1600. Recently restored the property has all the modern comforts you would expect in a home. You can enjoy a tranquil environment with some excellent walks on your doorstep and in the local area.
