This peaceful setting has stunning views of Dartmoor yet is only 30 mins to great surfing beaches. The stylish cottage has oak beams and slate floors with underfloor heating. French doors lead to the deck and a large, private, tranquil garden with wildlife ponds, free-range chickens, ancient oak trees and sweeping views of Dartmoor's wild northern tors. Detox in the sauna in the adjacent barn; bathe in the wood-fired hot tub on the deck or try your hand at home made pizzas in our outdoor oven.

Easy reach to Cornwall and north coast. We welcome dogs with manners as we have chickens, cats and a horse on site. Situated in Dartmoor national park with beautiful views from this detached, self-contained annex with private patio, garden, bike store and parking. The Dartmoor Den is a charming, newly converted annex that offers self catering accommodation in the quiet hamlet of Grenofen. Downstairs is open plan with a fully equipped new kitchen and cosy living/dining area, cloakroom/toilet and private garden. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with views across Dartmoor and an en-suite bathroom/wet room.

Cosy walker’s retreat in The Old Mill on Dartmoor

Situated on the Two Moors Way, this is a perfect bolthole after a day exploring. This self-contained little annexe with private entrance is attached to a 550 year-old former Mill in the rural hamlet of Ponsworthy, 3 miles from the famous Widecombe. Kitchenette, very small shower room, steep staircase ascending to cosy bedroom with seating area + Sky TV. Outdoor seating area surrounded by trees and the sound of the river. Off-street parking available if desired. Please read all points below.

A little unique gem full of character to enjoy

The Forge is a unique place full of character set at the edge of Dartmoor and only 2 miles from the market town of Tavistock. The Forge is a great place for cyclists and walkers, or if you just want to get away from it all. The Cornish Coast is not far and the city of Plymouth full of history is just a short car journey. Tavistock has the markets and lovely cafes and restaurants. The Forge has a log burner to snuggle up next too on those chilly evenings and a garden to enjoy.

Great place for walkers or peaceful getaways

2 miles from Chagford, on the edge of the moor is Kestor, a stunningly beautiful Dartmoor Tor. Just half a mile from there is Brimstone Down and our beautiful Annex. With its fabulous outlook that catches the morning sunrise and views across Chagford and Castle Drogo. The Annex is completely self contained with open plan bedroom with fully stocked wood burner & patio doors into the garden. With private bathroom & kitchenette with fridge, induction hob & combi microwave.

Entire bungalow — 5 minutes walk to the moors!

Our recently refurbished bungalow is within 5 minutes walk of Whitchurch Down and the vast expanse of Dartmoor. We are a 20-minute walk into Tavistock or 5 minutes by bus/car. There's a dog shower so should your best friend get muddy whilst on the moor, it is easy to get them clean! There is fast broadband available and smart TVs in the lounge and bedroom. There is a local pub and village shop within 5 minutes walk.
