Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. We invite you to come...... and experience country life.

Right in-between The Dunes National Park and downtown Chesterton, you will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located home. Artfully crafted, this charismatic, dog themed home greets you with all new furniture, a front porch, big yard, and focuses the design around your "man's best friend"! Less than 10 minutes to the Dunes and beaches or head 5 minutes to downtown for food, drinks and plenty of small-town fun. 😁

Less than 10 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park and Lake Michigan, our beautiful log cabin sits on 2 acres while still being in the heart of Portage! Our large front deck overlooks state land giving a beautiful, private view out of our large windows. Our cozy cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with fun, thoughtful touches for your family including video game consoles, movies, books, a LOT of games, a pool/ping pong table, 2 fire pits, and more! Second Floor Apartment sitting on Pine Lake

My Airbnb is close to parks, restaurant and Sand Dunes. The apartment is in the house on beautiful Pine lake. Please note that the balcony in the picture is not part of the apartment. the pictures are to show the patio of which you have full access. Pets are welcome but there is a $15 charge per pet per night. The fee should be made in advance through the send money. We live in a area that pets must be walked to do bathroom duties. They are NOT allowed on my grass or in flower beds.

Place yourself right in the beauty of the land and nature in this cozy tiny home at Perkins' Good Earth Farm. The tiny home has a loft bedroom, bathroom with shower and composting toilet, kitchen, sitting area, and deck. You'll be surrounded by organic vegetable fields, 11 acres of woods, walking trails--and within perfect view of both the sunrise and sunset. You'll also have easy access to our farm store where you'll find fresh fruits & veggies, homemade soups & salads and so much more.

Country vibe at Pomme Place - 3 bedroom apartment

Wind down and enjoy the country. Pomme Place, our private three bedroom apartment at Apple Blossom Trails, has a private entrance and the amenities of home. We have an apple orchard to roam, animals to watch, an adjacent playground and a great spot for bird watching. A large private deck extends from the apartment providing the perfect place to enjoy an evening. We live on site, adjacent to the apartment. We also have Paul, our musical security person, on site living in a mobile home.

Private Cottage in Gated Nudist Community

We offer a private cottage on the grounds of Lake O the Woods Club. Cottage has Queen size bed, air conditioning, heater, refrigerator, microwave, TV, coffee maker, work/dining area, private deck and porta-potty. Payment of club daily grounds fee ($30-$60) is optional . Pricing on club website. There is no running water in the cottage. Bathrooms, showers, hot tub, sauna and swimming pool are available at the clubhouse and pool area after payment of grounds fees.

The Loft at Virgie

You don't have to be born in a barn to vacation in one. Trade in the city for millions of stars in the night sky! As you enter thru the French doors you will be greeted by an open concept room decorated with a barn/industrial motif. Knotty pine car-siding and galvanized steel, wood floors along with a reclining leather couch and love seat fill the room A full kitchen with granite counter tops await you. There is plenty of natural lighting for the evenings.

Looking for week-end get away? Traveling through Northwest Indiana on I-65 and looking for a quiet place to stay for the night? Situated on 6 acres and with convenient (2 mile) access to I-65, our cozy Country Cottage is a great choice! Enjoy the cottage feel of this recently renovated (new cabinets, flooring, appliances) and charmingly decorated home, located in close proximity to local attractions! Our 650 square foot cottage is ideal for 1 - 4 guests.

Conveniently located 6 1/2 miles from I-65 between the Lowell and Roselawn exits and 6 miles from Sandy Pines Golf course & The Pavilion. This fully updated place has everything to feel right at home. The kitchen is provided with everything you need to prepare a meal. Plenty of places to eat out are just down the street. A 43" Samsung smart TV with Sling TV and Paramount Plus. When it's time to rest you'll do so on a brand new Nectar memory foam beds.

Private guest house newly remodeled. One bedroom queen bed, bath w/shower, full kitchen stocked, including microwave and Keurig coffee maker pods included, family room TV, and WIFI. No matter if you are in town for work, sport competition, family or just vacationing we offer all the comforts of home. Air Mattress available upon request. Please treat as your own home, follow all house rules. No party or gatherings. This is a no smoking home.

This is a rustic cottage with old world charm. There are 2 fireplaces,. The home sits on a hill overlooking the channel that leads to Flint Lake. - Pet free -May not be appropriate for people with mobility issues. - Earth friendly cleaning products - Private beach & park access - Easy access to city center & university - One hour from downtown Chicago - National Lakeshore and Dunes State Park nearby - Wood fireplaces (winter only!)
