If I had an issue or question the phone numbers provided were very responsive. Lovely house. Big and spacious. Great views from ours. Nice warm temperature inside. The hot tub might not be hot on the first day of book in though.

As a multi-generational group of eleven - ages ranged from 3 years to 84 - we had a wonderful few days in The Manor farmhouse. Upon arrival there was a warm welcome from Andy. The Manor is a friendly, comfortable, welcoming house that wraps itself around you. It's very homely. There’s an amazingly well-equipped kitchen and it was a joy to stand at the island in the conservatory prepping meals while looking out at the wonderful view. Everyone slept well in lovely bedrooms which are beautifully appointed. An amazing swimming pool and a games room provided fun for children and adults. Feeding the animals with Ruth on the Sunday morning of our stay was a high point for the children. A relaxing, restful time was had by everyone – The Manor is a truly wonderful place which gave us all some lovely memories. Ruth and Andy are providing something very special – their high standards are clearly reflected in the accommodation and all that is on offer at Woodlands Manor Farm.

We only stayed at the lodge for one night but it was great! We were lucky enough to have lovely weather which meant we could have dinner on the sunny balcony, with great views. It was extremely clean throughout and well equipped. We would love to come back again!

This was our 2nd visit and we had a magical stay. The accommodation is so perfect for us, and we just love Westward-Ho and the stunning beach. Weather was amazing and we met loads of lovely people whilst out with our English Bulldog Gwen. We hope to return later this year.

Great house in lovely location. Layout suited us well (2 families with kids and grandparents). Washing facilities proved very useful. Pool rota worked well and there was always a time available that suited us (open 8am-7pm). Host responded quickly. Lacking house guidance but not a problem and host responded to advise. Note access into house could be an issue for less able and push chairs-steep steps to front and lowest step broken away (advised host so this might get fixed). Rear access via steps and narrow sloping and muddy path. Parking to rear -you block in your other car. Parking spaces not spacious but adequate. We loved it thank you Beach Retreats!

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend both the chalet and Jen and Nat as hosts. We had a small issue the first night and they replied immediately to resolve it and were friendly, helpful and apologetic. The chalet is in a great location on the holiday park, leading out onto a green, and a 1 minute walk from the main clubhouse and playground so it was ideal for us as a family. Would highly recommend.

Everything was as described. Neil was a great host and left a very generous welcome pack and a really useful folder of information. The house is in a good location, is spacious, and has amazing showers (although the high water pressure was less useful when our son drowned the kitchen as soon as we arrived!). The kitchen, although not that modern, is large and very well equipped. We didn't use the dining area much except for meals: it was a bit chilly (bring slippers for the tiled floor), there were no blinds on the windows, and WiFi didn't reach well into that room. In fact, it's worth bringing a collapsible table if you plan to use a laptop much in the house. The beds were all really comfortable but the curtains in most bedrooms are very light and thin so blackout blinds are advised. We stayed outside the swimming pool opening season but used the pool at Ruda down the road which was really fun. The pool table was great for an extra activity on rainy days. Overall, we'd recommend.

Combe Martin was much quieter than we remember from our last visit but was so easy to get to Ilfracombe and other places we wanted to visit. Found great places to eat and drink close by in the village, amazing walks and views and locals were all so friendly. The house was just perfect with everything we needed. It was excellent to have a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for my Mum, who is a bit unsteady on her feet. The log burner was easy to use and incredibly efficient, a lovely way to end the day. The kitchen was really well designed. Nic and Rick were really responsive and the check in and out was straightforward and very relaxed. Thanks Nic and Rick for a perfect weekend stay!

Great house for our short stay. Clean and tidy with everything we needed. Lynda was really helpful and always responsive when we messaged. Would definitely use in the future!

The pictures don't do Richards place justice. The space is utterly perfect and has more than you need! The condition, layout, furnishings are all top notch and is ample big enough for a really good stay. The garden is perfectly private and is a glorious sun trap. The location of the house make sit perfect to see visit all surrounding areas and is only a couple of minutes form Croyde so you get the peace and no traffic but can be in the heart of it all within a few minutes. The village is great, two lovely pubs and a shop thirty seconds from the house. Honestly, don't even think about booking elsewhere, this place is tremendous, is exquisitely kitted out and even has a TV that comes up out of the end of the bed - luxury. Richard the host is also a fabulous chap to deal with, you cannot go wrong with him, the house or the location - get it booked!!!!

Fantastic property in a great location. The house has lots going for it...flexible accommodation - all very well kitted out, private hot tub in the enclosed sunny rear garden, very useful outside heated shower for getting the beach off you and prepping for the hot tub, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Location-wise, it's only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country....we SUP'd at Hele Bay, body-boarded at Woolacombe, and ate ice cream everywhere! Close enough to larger towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, but walkable to the lovely Braunton with it's mix of pubs and restaurants. It's a great home, beautifully located.

We had an amazing stay and will definitely be booking again in the future! The location was perfect — we especially loved having the golf course right out the back leading directly to the beach. The neighbourhood was peaceful and friendly, and there was plenty to do along the beachfront, just a short 10-minute walk away. Jilly was such a lovely host — she left us chocolates and other thoughtful amenities, and even checked in with us on our journey home. Her hospitality made our trip even more special. Highly recommend!

Lovely few days with friends. Cosy with the Aga and wood burners and great walk down to Crackington Haven.

We had a great stay at Anchor Down. The house is in a great location just around the corner from the village. The house felt spacious and bright, with beautiful views from the bedroom windows. Great communication from Steve throughout making for a pleasant experience!

We had an absolutely fantastic holiday as a large extended family. The house was perfect! In fact better than what we expected. The layout downstairs is perfect to accommodate us all and allowed us all to be very social with one another. Garden was perfect for the dogs, kitchen had plenty of plates and utensils etc as well as cookware to make dinner for a large number of people. Anna & Sally were very quick to respond also with any questions we had. We really did have a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend

Mike and Helens home was the perfect homely base for our family Christmas. The house was decorated and with two log burners was very cosy and festive. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook for the whole family every night. The location is perfect for visiting places on the North and south coast and there is plenty of parking in the drive for 5 cars. The house is in a very quiet area, which was lovely and the airfield nearby is good for dog walks.

We had the best stay, the house is absolutely beautiful, would love to stay here again !

We loved Paradise House. Spent a very happy Easter here with little people and adults. The house was perfect - comfy beds, clean bathrooms, plenty of space, a separate play room and amazing garden to explore in and do an Easter egg hunt in ! Walking into Boscastle is super easy and plenty of great beaches and pubs nearby. Rosy was fab. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely place to stay! Matched the description and photos. Harriet was very responsive and helpful. Setting was lovely and close to all the amenities. We would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again!

Lovely, clean apartment with everything you could want. Beautiful kitchen and living room, super comfy bed and a great sized garden. We loved the surrounding area - so many beautiful beaches, the Braunton Burrows and Braunton itself is a lovely village with all you could want! Great fish and chips, lovely coffee shop, nice independent boutiques and restaurants and delis. We also enjoyed going to Croyde for walks on the beach and a couple of nice meals out. Great sunsets on all the beaches nearby and plenty of space to set up camp and enjoy a beach day! We had a perfect stay and are already itching to come back - thank you so much.

Great communication from Host answering any questions. Made organising the trip a breeze. Beautiful accommodation, very well equipment and so spacious - host left us biscuits and pods for the coffee machine as well as 2 bottles of bubbly which we enjoyed as we were away celebrating a family members 70th birthday. There were 12 of us in total - younger being a newborn and the oldest being 70 and we all had the most lovely weekend - everything from pub lunches to countryside walks, dips in the hot tub and a trip to the Honey Farm. Couldn't recommended enough !
