Hillside is a beautiful self-contained cottage, an ideal base for cyclists, walkers, city goers, golfers and those just wanting to relax and unwind 2pm arrivals, 12noon departures In an Idyllic setting just 2k East of Hedley On The Hill Dogs are welcome at Hillside Cottage however due to limited space downstairs only one medium or two small neutered dogs, no pets upstairs please. Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. At the end of a wooded lane, through a farm gate, two 1930s cargo rail carriages recovered from the North East Railway have been transformed into cosy retreats at Lockhaugh Farm. Carriage No. 1 is one of four unique rentals, uniquely positioned where Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Northumberland converge.
