Our B&B “Al Pozzo” is part of an old farmhouse restored and refurbished. It is situated right on the path leading to the “Basilica di S. Pietro Al Monte” (http:/www.amicidisanpietro.it), a monument considered to be a jewel of Romanesque art (X-XI century). And further on along the path are our wonderful montains with its Monte Cornizzolo, a peak famous for paragliding (www.cornizzolo.com). Is is a very short distance from the cliffs, where climbing enthusiasts will enjoy various levels of difficulties in this adventurous sport. There are easy links to che cities of Milan, Como, Bergamo, to the picturesque towns of Bellagio, Varenna, Menaggio and to Switzerland. And just 4 Km from “Al Pozzo” you can visit the beautiful historical city of Lecco, on Lake Como, with its amazing views famously described in the novel “The Betrothed” by A. Manzoni. A bit about us: we are a family made up of a young couple, Barbara and Beppe, and two children, Ale and Franci, lovers of mountains and nature. We grow our own organic vegetables, we have two dogs and even a stable with twenty odd goats which help us produce a high-quality homemade cheese! You will be able to taste it at breakfast or it you choose to dine comfortably at our typical restaurant part of the farmhouse structure- We are looking forward to your visit!

The Walnut Tree B & B is located in Zana, a hamlet in the upper part of Abbadia Lariana on the eastern shore of Lake Como. We are one hour away from Milan, 2 and a half km away from Mandello del Lago and 3 km away from Abbadia Lariana. If you arrive by train, we can pick you up by car from the train station of Mandello or Abbadia Lariana. The part of the house given over to the B&B has been sensitively restored and has the character of an old country house, complete with a balcony with views over the lake. The two rooms have private bathrooms. In summer you can have your breakfast served on the terrace in the garden. A few kilometers away is the town of Varenna, where boats depart for the lake. The whole area is known for the famous mountain "Grigna", a wonderful place for walking and climbing. If you enjoy motorcycles, be sure to visit the museum of Guzzi motorcycle. Abbadia is the perfect place to swim: there are no private homes that overlook the beautiful beach. L'appartamento è situato al secondo piano di una casa privata ed è a vostra completa disposizione, accessibile tramite le scale esterne. L’edificio è una casa in pietra, tipica dei paesi della Valtellina, e l’ingresso del B&B si trova entrando nel portico dello stesso edificio.
