Packed neighborhood spot with a lot of Italian specialities--woodchips thrown all about the floor, and hanging pictures of the Virgin Mary and different saints adorn the walls.

This is my favorite place for food shopping because they have the absolute best prices you'll find in NYC and its a family run grocery store with a great selection of produce and imported italian products. they also have a butcher in the back (closed mondays) and a deli counter in the front where they make their own proscutto cotto and some other things which are all really good.
