There is a water taxi that starts at this pier and takes you to the heart of the city. One of the nice things is that there are no traffic jams!

Express boat (public transport) for a budget, nice way to reach historical area of Bangkok (Grand Palace, Wat Po, etc..) very easy to get there by bus or a taxi
