The closest beach to us, this is a great place to start. You can get there in a few minutes and there's a trail that goes all the way to The Base.

If you're at the beach in Alameda, this is a great place to stop in for food - Safeway, Panera, Jamba Juice or MacDonalds and more, whatever fits your plan! There are also some great smaller stores, like Modern Mouse, that feature works by local artists. During the summer, there's a free music series, and during the winter, a seasonal outdoor ice rink!
