SAIL NEWPORT offers sailing lessons and boat rentals. Or for a cheap boat trip take the NEWPORT HARBOR SHUTTLE- Hop on and off all day for $10. (Makes 7 stops- 55 min harbor loop) interested in yachting check out the MUSEUM OF YACHTING, teaches the culture and heritage of the sport. You ride a water taxi shuttle to the museum from the harbor, so getting there is half the fun. $6 round trip. There are also dozens of charter companies available for harbor or sunset cruises all along the harbor.
