This is a beautiful place to enjoy a rare Esker created by the glaciers. We enjoy the walk and watching the birds. What is an esker, you ask? Dictionary.com say it is "a serpentine ridge of gravelly and sandy drift, believed to have been formed by streams under or in glacial ice."

Rare geological remains of glaciers once in the area. Small hiking trail very little visitation and very close to lodge.
