Rose VL has been nominated for the coveted James Beard Award for their Vietnamese Pho soups. They make two each day and everything in the bowl is from scratch.

The menu rotates daily. There are one or two different Vietnamese noodle soups each day. Get the salad rolls, too. Recognized by the James Beard Foundation for a reason!

Arguably the best Vietnamese food in Portland. The chef/owner was a semifinalist for the James Beard award for Best Chef Northwest. But, don't expect anything fancy. This is a no-frills spot for pho and bahn Mi. They serve two soups a day and generally sell out, so go early!
