Get the small rowing boat situated near the tea gardens to the other side of the river. Turn left and walk for approx 20 mins to find the amazing Lytheum ruins. Go early or late in day to avoid heat. Spectacular

An ancient Roman site with amphitheatre, a Byzantine basilica, Roman baths, and rock tombs. You can cross to "the other side" on the small rowing boat near Savash's boat and walk for 10/15 minutes to Kaunos. Its a fascinating place

Caunos is one of the important port cities of ancient Caria.You can also see the magnificent Dalyan delta from above.If you want to go by your car, the ferry takes you to the opposite shore at regular intervals.If you would like to go on foot,you can go to Sağlık Sokak in Dalyan and female rowers can take you to Çandır on their boats with a slow but fun journey. We don’t recommend going on foot in hot summmer days.

Take the rowing boat across the river and begin your ascent to the ancient city of kaunos. This is a national heritage site. There are stunning views of the whole of Dalyan from up here! Well worth a visit!
