Just a few minutes walk from the cottage is located our historic village pub - older than the church opposite. They have a great selection of local ales and cider, bar snacks and a surprisingly broad and generous restaurant menu with some fantastic home made puddings. Friday fish 'n' chip night is pretty good value and very popular. There is a beer garden and occaisonally live music.

The local pub is approximately within 10 minutes by foot. It is a popular traditional pub central to the heart of the village. It serves local real ales, cider and has a good selection of wines plus a variety of spirits. It has a good menu of home cooked pub food including delicious pizzas. It has a beautiful sunny rear garden plus a spacious patio seating area to the front. Dogs are welcome both in and out.
