Long time wheat farmers, the Kontos family dipped their toes in wine several decades ago by founding Fort Walla Walla Cellars. Later on, two of the sons launched their own brand, Kontos Cellars. They focus largely on red wines, but also have some sparkling wine, and a delightful white blend. During the summer months, their expansive downtown patio features live music.
