Just a few minutes walk from the Burgh Island Causeway, Discovery Surf School is an excellent place to hire equipment (surf boards, paddleboards & kayaks) or to book a surf lesson. The surf instructors are fantastic!

Why not make the most of being close to the sea and book yourself a surfing lesson? The South Hams boasts some of the best surfing beaches on the south coast. Discovery Surf School operate off Bigbury beach and Challaborough beach and offer surfing lessons for all abilities, plus the hire of kayaks and SUPs (Stand Up Paddleboards).
