Trou aux Biches also known as Le Sakoa is also a great beach with more of a resort feel. It is lined with hotels, bars, restaurants and snack vendors. Tourist operators are available offering a range of boat trips, game fishing and watersports. Like Mont Choisy, it has lovely sand. The sandiest part of the seafloor is the north part of the beach, close to the entrance of the public beach, but further to the south (if you turn left) around the hotel Le Sakoa you will also find a great section beach with crystal clear waters. There are more boats moored here than Mont Choisy but still space to swim. During peak season the beach gets very busy with tourists and locals.

Trou aux Biches is one of my favourite beaches in Mauritius. Perfect conditions for swimming and snorkeling. The shallow and calm waters make it ideal for families with kids.
