Go the side way up/down the mountain so you won't miss this gem! Best dang chicken fried steak outside Texas. Large portions, fun ambience, and friendly staff.

If you plan ahead you can pick up some great food as you pass Mill Creek Cattle Company in Mentone on your way to the mountains. If not, drive off the mountain to get to this gem but the drive is most often beautiful and the rewards once you arrive some 20 minutes later are well worth it. In addition to great food they have a full bar and entertainment on many nights. They are one of the few places that have an "outside" dining area that is basically inside with decent air conditioning making it an added bonus on these hot summer days/nights during the COVID issues.
