Ruthin Craft Centre has established an impressive reputation as perhaps Britain’s foremost venue for the display and creation of contemporary craft. Inside are three galleries – two for displaying the best contemporary craft from Wales and around the world, the other a collections gallery and a retail gallery space. Ruthin Craft Centre, local arts and crafts to be seen and a great cafe! Good toilet facilities and free parking too!

The name craft centre is somewhat misleading for this leading centre for applied arts. There are some excellent touting exhibitions here with a changing scene of artists in residence. There is also an excellent cafe here. www.canolfangrefftrhuthun.org.uk It is also the starting point of Ruthin Art Trail which is a weak that takes you around the town searching for spy holes and little men on the buildings. www.ruthinarttrail.co.uk
