Evely is the closes lake access from our rental. Just a 2 minute drive away. Park half way down and take the walking trails to find some very private lake lounging areas. The shore is a bit rocky, so if your looking for sandy beach, the next closest spot is Fintry Provincial Park, just 10 minutes further down the road.

There is a nice day use area at Evely Rec Site with picnic tables, lake access, and a boat launch. You can drive to the day use area in 5 minutes or walk there in 15. There are also some short walking trails if you feel like stretching your legs. Walking directions: Walk down Lawrence lane (paved road you drove in on) to the very bottom of the hill. You will see a small building and a roundabout. There is a small path on your right hand side directly across from the building that goes into the forest. Follow this path for about 5 minutes and you will pop out at Evely Rec Site day use area. Driving directions: Head south on Westside Road toward Kelowna. Take a left directly across from the Sugar Loaf Forest Service Road at the sign for Evely Rec Site. Drive to the bottom of the road and park near the roundabout in the day use area.

Located on the western shore of Lake Okanagan, this area is 1km from Atlyn's Place. There is a boat launch, day use picnic tables and a rocky beach to launch stand up paddle boards, kayaks canoes, jet skis or air mattresses. There is no garbage bins so be prepared to take all your garbage with you.
