This is a stunning village on a hilltop which gives magnificent views all around. It is also good exercise climbing up! Fortunately there are lots of café's and restaurants, together with tourist shops.

Very well known hilltop bastide town, with lots of historic buildings and interest. Many festivals and events on in the summer. Artisan shops, restaurants, bistro's, and amazing views. Also a little tourist train to take you up or down the hill complete with commentary.

Cordes-sur-Ciel is a famous medieval hilltop town dating from the 14th century however the market takes place every Saturday morning in “new” Cordes at the bottom of the hill – you can’t miss it. It is ideal for all your local produce.
