Ristorante L'Ea Cana in San Teodoro is a family-run restaurant, created many years ago by Pietrina and Savino. In fact, it was they who, following their memories, began to make and offer their preparations: a wide range of dishes that are the fruit of the old recipes of their family's Sardinian cuisine. Simple dishes, linked to the territory and popular traditions of Gallura and the inland areas. Today the restaurant is managed and cared for by their son Vito and his wife Immacolata with the utmost professionalism: they, too, proudly continue along the path traced by their parents and offer guests the old recipes of their mother and grandmother, revised and, when possible, improved, accentuating those flavours and scents so characteristic and unique to the countless plants of the surrounding area. All dishes are always elaborately prepared and served with loving grace: even the composition of the food gives back figures and colours that certainly invite you to eat with gusto. Among the exquisite specialities on the restaurant's extensive menu of meat and fish dishes are: prawns with figs and bottarga (roe), very delicate fish dishes with particularly strong flavours, typical desserts such as parfaits and desserts made with one of Sardinia's best-known plants, the myrtle. A popular first course is Sardinian ravioli, ravioli filled with ricotta cheese, served with a typical wild boar or pork sauce: it will be hard to give it up! For lovers of the sea, the menu offers mussel soup: the Gulf of Olbia is renowned and appreciated for its mussels, small in size but full of excellent flavour. For lovers of simplicity, the restaurant also offers delicious pizzas, baked in a wood-fired oven: an alternative for all tastes. In the wood-fired oven of the meat and fish restaurant in San Teodoro, the pizzaiolo prepares numerous pizzas, from classic to fancy ones, to those customised according to the guests' tastes.
