The best park I’ve ever! It’s got stunning, massive cliffs and I definitely recommend jumping off the cliffs, tubing, ice skating, the splash pad and playground, or just hanging out.

About 40 minutes away from Lafayette and halfway to Estes Park. This is our kids favorite spot with a creek to play in, wonderful play structures and beautiful scenery. It's a great place to picnic too. Lyons is also a fun place to check out with a vintage pinball machine arcade and fun restaurants.

Drive 10 minutes towards the mountains and splash in the cool St Vrain river, enjoy various recreational courts, or walk around on the beautiful trails to Bohn Park.

Amazing and beautiful MUST SEE park! Two awesome playgrounds for kids! Water features for little kids, and river access all around for older kids and adults, you can also do tubing in this river during summer, use caution while doing that! Look up in the cliff walls and see if you can spot the bald eagle habitat!

Bounded on three sides by the North St. Vrain Creek and sandstone cliffs, also called LaVern Johnson Park, is a community favorite year round. There is an abundance of recreational opportunities which include picnic areas, RV and tent camping, playground area, Lyons Whitewater Park, splash pad, and an ice rink in the winter.
