Invented in 1912 in a copper kettle at the Standard Candy Company right here in Nashville, the Goo Goo Cluster is the world's first combination candy bar. The unique confection is a roundish mound of caramel, marshmallow nougat, fresh roasted peanuts and real milk chocolate. Today, the Original Goo Goo Cluster is also available in two additional varieties: Supreme (with pecans instead of peanuts) and Peanut Butter. An iconic Southern brand, it’s rich 100+ year history comes to life at Goo Goo’s flagship retail store, the Goo Goo Shop, opened in 2014 on 3rd Avenue South in the heart of the SoBro area of downtown Nashville.
