조선시대 때 이 일대에 흐르는 계곡물의 소리가 맑다하여 '수성동'으로 불리우며 서울근교 명승지로 자리잡은 멋진 계곡입니다. 화가 '겸재 정선'의 산수화에 등장하며 유명세를 탔던 '수성동계곡'은 서울특별시의 기념물 제 31호 입니다.

Suseong-dong Valley's stream runs down from Inwangsan Mountain and joins Cheonggyecheon Stream, and it is said that the name of the village was called Suseong-dong during the Joseon dynasty due to the loud and clear sound of the flowing water. Enjoy this beautiful view and find a stone bridge were designated as a cultural property of Seoul.
