Stroud is a small town located in the heart of the five valleys in Gloucestershire. Surrounded by beautiful hilly walks. A creative town, lots of artists, poets, writers, and well known for its Farmers Market, one of the first in the UK. We support the arts, as I am an artist, and my husband is a musician, and Stroud has several festivals throughout the year. Look out for the Stroud Food and Drink Festival May 20-22nd, lots happening at our Sub Rooms. Stroud town is a quirky unique place which has been voted the best place to live in Britain. It has a wonderful Saturday morning market, with home produce and gifts of varying kinds. It is a very arty town with friendly people. Music is often played and it’s a great place to relax and walk around.
