Go for takeout, not for the ambiance, but this is the best Thai food in the city, in our humble opinions.

Our favorite Thai food in Fremont and is best for takeout/delivery. They do have a small outdoor area that's fun to sit at too.

Lower Fremont: Authentic Thai food in a slightly hole-in-the-wall, intimate setting, almost like eating at home. Kwanjai Thai is serious about their noodles, soups, and star-spice ratings, and many count it as their Fremont Thai favorite. Not open super late, so get there in time. (If you are looking for late night Thai, head a few block over to Jai Thai which is a Fremont institution- still super yummy, but inconsistent with their spicing levels.)

This place is far from fancy. It also makes some of the best Thai food in Seattle.
